Hira Maya Ale
Chairperson

Ms Hira Maya Ale Magar is better known as Chandra Jyoti Ale with her familiar name. She is the former Chairperson of Magar Association HK, Member of Nepal Magar Association and has been appointed as Coordinator for East Asia Region, a member of Magar International Forum. She has also been associated with many other organizations: She is a senior Advisor of Hong Kong Nepali Women’s Association, Advisor of Nepal Magar Cultural Association, Tanahun Samaj HK and Raise Them Up (run by Miss Magar HK Team)

Ms Ale has been honored by the number of awards and certificates. Some of them have been short listed here: Adibasi Janajati Cheli 2013 (Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Hong Kong), Women of the Year 2015 (NRN Hong Kong), Woman of the Year 2015 (Hong Kong Nepali Mahila Sangh), Bringing Women’s Awareness Through Cultural Expression 2016 (Hong Kong Integrated Nepalese Society), Appreciation Letter 2017 (Film Development Board of Nepal). Visits- Macau, Shanghai/Guangdong/Shenzhen (China), Singapore, Malaysia, Korea etc.


Janga Thapa
Director

Mr Janga Bahadur Pulami Magar is the owner of Pulami Travel Tanahun. He has started a poultry farm too. Socially, he is connected with Magar Association HK as advisor and a member of Khuri Samaj HK and also the Ex-Chairperson of Tanahun Samaj HK.


Raksha Bahadur Raika Magar

Mr Raksha Bahadur Raika Magar is an LLB who has been practicing as a professional lawyer for a long time. Currently, he is a Central Council member of Nepal Bar Association. He is associated with many more social and professional organizations such as:

Secretary for Foreign Affairs - Nepal Magar Association CC, Member- Magar International Forum.

G. Secretary - Social Development Society, Anamnagar, KTM

Advisor - Nepal Magar Contact Coordination Committee, Nepal Cultural Association Central Committee, Shitala Devi Former Student’s Society.

He has had trainings from UNDP and Kathmandu District Court, he has also completed advance meditation course Visits: China, Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, India.


Bhim Prasad Rokaya
Director

Mr Bhim Prasad Rokaya is a well-known business person. He is the owner of  "RTBM HANDICRAFT AND DOLPA HERBAL & ORGANIC SUPPLIERS" that specializes in manufacturing and supplying/exporting Nepali handmade wool carpet, sunpat (jute) carpet, allo (natural hemp), silk and pashmina items and herbal teas.

He's engaged in different social organizations too. At present, he holds the post of Vice-chairman of Nepal Magar Association, Central Committee.


Gupt Bahadur Rana Magar
Director

Mr. Gupta Bahadur Rana has pursued EMBA (PU University), MA in Sociology

and Master in Public Administration (Tribhuvan University).

Mr. Rana is a  retired (2015) Senior Officer of state-owned Rastriya Banijya Bank where he served almost 30 years as a Policy Developer as well as a Manager in A Class branches. He had had extensive training programs during his career. He has lots of experiences in managing and policymaking.

Mr Rana is also interested in serving the community. He served as president of Nepal Magar Association, Lalitpur district from BS 2064 to 2069. Currently, he is-

 *Vice President of Rotary Club of Mahabouddha.

* a member of Management Association of Nepal.

*Vice President of Magar Studies Centre.

*an advisor of Magar Bouddha Samaj Sewa, Central Committee. 

Visits: United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Pakistan, France, Netherland, and Brunei.

 

 

 

 


Manmaya Thapa
Director

Ms. Manmaya Thapa Magar has earned a master’s degree in Business Studies, majoring finance with a solid foundation in accounting and business maths. She has been currently working as an account officer in National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN), a Government Institution of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities. At present, she is also a board member of Magar Studies Center, Kathmandu.

Ms. Thapa has lots of experiences working in social organizations which are shortlisted here: 

-Vice- chairman, Nepal Magar Youth Association of Central Committee (2013 to 2018)
-Member, Nepal Magar Women’s Association of Central committee (2012 to 2015)
-Chairman, Nepal Magar Womens’ Association of Kathmandu district ( 2009 to 2012)

Gyanendra Pun
Director

Mr Gyanendra Pun Magar has earned a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology and has completed numerous vocational trainings such as Diploma in Pharmacy, Community Medicine Assistance (CMA) and Advance Computer Course successfully and attended many workshops in national and international level.

He has experiences working as Project Manager in Support to Participatory Constitution Building Nepal (SPCBN)/UNDP and Nepal Magar Association, Section Officer in Ministry of Water Resources of Nepal Government. 

Currently , he is an Executive Member of National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) (Government Institution of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities) And also socially engaged in Nepal Magar Association as General Secretary Visits: Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Qatar and India.

Shusila Thapa Magar

Director, Representing South Korea

Shusila Thapa Magar, B.COM has a good experience of working at Dongsanba P. Ltd. as a Supervisor for 5 years in South Korea. Currently she is running Hotel MGR Group P. Ltd at New Bus Park KTM. She is the former Board Director of Taklung Rising Investment and Business Development P. Ltd. and founding Founder Board Member of Langhali Shreejanshil Youth Club Gorkha. Socially, she served as a Treasurer of Magar Sangh South Korea while in Korea.


Chhatra Bahadur Ghale Magar

Director, Representing Qatar

Mr Chhatra Bahadur Ghale Magar has been engaged in trekking sector professionally. He is a Member of Nepal Magar Association and the Coordinator for the Gulf countries. He has already served as a chairman of Nepal Magar Association Qatar Branch. He is the founding member of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) Qatar branch and also the former Second Chairman of NRNA Qatar.
